Gordienko VALERIA
Valeria Gordienko was born in Sochi in 1992. At the age of 12, after watching the program «Housing Question» (TV programme on designing apartments), she decided to become an interior designer. Thus began the formation of the artist.
Valeria graduated from Volgograd technical college «Interior Design» programme (2012), Volgograd state technical university (Bachelor's degree in «Architecture» programme) (2017), Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering (Master's degree in «Urban Planning» programme) (2019), British Higher School of Art and Design («Illustration» programme)» (2021).
«What if we mix and rethink the meaning? For me, creativity lies in the curiosity of a child, in exploring himself through space and ideas, in rethinking them in the grinder of your own generator, and also in unlimited creation.
I became an architect-urban planner, but I always wanted to create as an artist in her profession. In 2020, during the pandemic, I decided to take courses in illustration and creating an artist's book. Courses: «Book Workshop», creating a book and working with international publishing houses of Elina Elis, creating a picture book by Olga Ezova-Denisova, working with a book editor Yulia Bakhmetova. That is how the reboot and immersion in creating without frameworks has begun».
