«I was 5 months pregnant during the first COVID isolation. At the same time, I studied online at Dima Gorelyshev's «portrait in interior» course.

Experiments with technique, space and forms led me to the theme of an exaggerated figure of a girl in a flat or voluminous space, made with immiscible materials: watercolor and oil pastel, finalized in pencil and digital.

The isolation period ended, but my self-isolation continued with the birth of my daughter. The passion for illustration continued coupled with love for plants and experiments with different living materials. It turned out to be quite a warm series of works.

The birth of a daughter set me on to create illustrations for children. I decided to illustrate a book of my favorite childhood writer. So now I'm working on Chukovsky's «25 Riddles», which got into the long list».
